I checked out Garritan a while ago. I liked it very much It sounds quite like a real orchestra. A very useful tool for composers. I think

As for the comparison - both are too close I'd say if there weren't the narrator the untrained ear would never distinguish Garritan from the real orchestra.

May be it will make the real orchestras obsolete?
