No surprise here. I remember looking at the PSR730 right before the 740 came out. I believe it was going for about $999 at the local music outlet. A couple of months later it was selling at the same store for about $ 600. Seems to be a trend. I remember the EM2000 and G1000 coming way down in price right before they were discontinued, and see that the Roland VA series is going the same route. I guess, if someone doesn't HAVE to have the latest and greatest, the time to strike is right at the time a model gets replaced. I'd have done well I think to have purchased the G1000 for $1199 brand new. I am a bit sorry now that I didn't.
