Thanks for the words and I think you got what I was trying to get across with "Floatin'". The picture I had in my mind while writing the tune was an eagle, wings spread floating on a breeze, then catching a gust of wind (the electric distorted sound)and then just floating again.

About first impressions.....I both agree and disagree for myself. My first listen to something usually tells me if I am interested at all in the work, but then I need to listen to it at least a couple of more times to understand what the composer was trying to do and whether or not I like it.
I did this just the other day with a cd by David Gray. I love his tune "Babylon" so I bought the cd. First listen I was disappointed with all but that cut, however another couple of listens and I like the cd. Babylon is still the best cut, but the rest isn't bad either.
