Doc-z is correct, providing your operating system is later then Win 98, (which can sometimes cause problems) the only thing I would say is, (And this applies whenever you install any Hardware or Software) Create a System Restore Point so that you can always go back.
Another point is that if the second soundcard is for a specific task, then just keep it for that particular job, and feed the output from it, to an input on the M-Audio Card thus minimising set up.
