While I had a similar observation as far as instrumentation....I do believe they would be open to paying 1 person who produced that touristie Hawaian sound and put on a good show. The other thing I saw as a changing trend... there were several solo acoustic guitar players in the lower end restaurants with smaller stages. Reminded me quite a bit of my early folk days.
