The vocalizer, multipads, multiple song markers, and audio recording...are all pluses over the G1000..but at this point in time..the comparison should be Tyros/G70.

What I am using currently covers all the bases..G1000 for arranger and sequence playback..Also sequencing[I prefer this over the computer sequencing]..
The DisCover5 for Vocalizer and sequence playback..
The laptop for MP3 and break tunes..

It would be nice to have it all in one...G70?[if they would update to audio recording as they did the FantomX...I don't think it would be hard to upgrade].

Maybe Midjay[in a keyboard form].

Maybe the Genesys[a little pricey].

Maybe the Korg PA1X[with a few OS changes]

My guess...the G70 will be the most logical for me..
I would even be interested in a version of the E80 [speaker model] equipped with 76 [G70 type} keys.....Even if it weighed in at 60lbs..If the sound system is as good as the specs..
