On the PSR3000 you have 8 dedicated buttons on the front panel to store registrations. After you fill these up you save this bank with either a number or a name. Now you can start with 8 new memory locations and when filled up you give this bank a name and save it along with the first one. You can keep doing this until you run out of memory either in the internal memory, a smart media card, or an external USB drive. So basically, you can keep adding banks of registrations until you can't think of anything else to save! You can even title the individual 8 saved memories in each bank so that you can look on the screen before choosing a button and know what song or style you are calling up by pushing the button.
