I went back because we forgot to add the insurance. I added the max. which was only $500, I wanted $3,000. I thought should I chance it -- $500 for damages and I might have to accept the rest. The thought ended when I was told that the $500 was for damage and not for loss. There was no coverage for loss.

He then handed me a card – I was to call them to get the balance insured. The company was affiliated with FedEx. After making three calls to the company and getting their message machine I was angry. This was not the first time I shipped a keyboard with FedEx, all this was new.

I went back and asked to speak to the manger, nice man with very few answers. He said that I could get the keyboard covered if I sent it air for $189.54. I took the keyboard back and went to UPS, their price with all the coverage was $139.35. Five day delivery –I hope.

Is FedEx saying we do not want to ship large cartons? If I was given all the correct info $189 won’t work. The smaller box I shipped with FedEx weighed 9lbs and cost me $14.79 – and the supplied the carton and packed it.
