For a couple that come to mind is all augmented and diminished chords are the same:

C+=E+=G#+
C#+=E#+(F+)=A+
D+=F#+=Bb+
Eb+=G+=B+

Cdim=Ebdim=F#dim=Adim
C#dim=Edim=Gdim=Bbdim
Ddim=Fdim=Abdim=Bdim

So that means there are really only four augmented chords and three diminished chords.

I think most players would pick the inversion they prefer and use only one of each group most of the time.
