Tonight, My wife and I are having dinner with four other couples who are close friends. My better half spent 25 years by herself while I played on NYE. I gave up playing on NYE about 10 years ago. I have not a single regret. I love to perform but I really enjoy bringing in the new year with my wife of almost 35 years and good friends. When I was raising four kids and paying tuition to Christian School I needed the extra cash. Now it is no longer as important as my wife and good friends.
