Though the remainder of the month is wall to wall, back to back Christams parties, I had yesterday and today off from the music biz. Therefore, after finishing my newspaper columns, I spent a few hours getting the Z-5500 ready for the road. Here it is, step by step for the completed project.

1. A front and read satellite speaker is mounted side by side on each stand. They can be swiveled to provide a broader coverage of the audience.

2. The stands are heavy-duty, chrome plated steel and telescope to approximately 6 feet. (About $25 each at the local music store)

3. All of the satellite speakers and control pannel are mounted on a plywood platform and held securely in place with industrial strength Velcro.

4. The platform fits snuggly in a heavy-duty duffel bag that has a carrying strap and zipped, side storage compartment for wires and wireless remote.

5. The finished product, rigged and ready to play.

Cheers,

Gary
