Starkeeper, I hope you can sell your 550. Jerry has a good price on his unit. I wouldn't be hesitent in any way. The PSR-2000 is a huge step up from the PSR-550. I don't think you'd regret the purchase. I'll be sure to let you know my thoughts. I actually played the PSR-2000 before so I have a little head start here. It's a great sounding keyboard. Of course at the time it was way out of my league in price so all I could do was drool. I can't wait to get the unit in my home and in my set up. I'll be using my Casio WK-3500 as a controller for the 2000 as well. I'm so used to 76 keys now You really do get spoiled with them.
