Great ideas tgalf! I agree about the 128 MB of sounds: that is a nessecity! Sounds, of course, are the most important things of any keyboard. The Yamaha MOTIF, I think, has 85MB of sounds. So, obviously, the new keyboards at Winter NAMM 2002 should be an improvement on this with the 128 MB of sounds. From what I've seen, General Music is already ahead of us. Take a look at their website - http://www.generalmusic.com/ - and read on their new Pro Mega3. It has I think 320 notes of polyphony! (but I'm not sure about the sounds) That is amazing, I have never heard of that before!

Also, a large "Pro Sequencer" like you mentioned is VERY important. I've noticed that many keyboards lack a good sequencer, and to most people (including me), that is the most important part. You should be able to save up to 30 plus songs to the internal hard drive of the keyboard instead of relying on floppy disks. But still, there should be a floppy disk drive included no matter what!

Well, good ideas! See you around on the forums,
Ryan
