thanks guys - the more i listened to it both ways, i just couldn't turn off the harmony, even on the last verse . . .
Hope to getting my new desktop soon, then I'll be able to record, and I'll certainly post when that happens, and critiques are welcome!
Scott - i'll definitely check out the sight and hear your andrews sisters! and yes scott, hope I'll sound a little more like the "sisters" - although I am a low alto!!
