If you are in the learning stage it will be a while before you can sound anything like the people you have heard play your dream Roland keyboard.

Now if my desire was to play piano and own that Roland, by all means I would buy the Roland as soon as possible.

What you get for your PSR3000 should not be an issue. If money is a big issue, start learning on the PER3000, it’s a great keyboard. If you can’t take a loss you do not have a real choice.

PS, How much do you want for your PSR3000, I know some people who are interested. Like others have said, when this forum starts talking PSR3100 you investment will go down in value.
