Eric, what a great post, I love it, it’s filled with common sense. That says a lot
about you.

Some of my thoughts;
1- “If you can be offended – you will be offended”
Lot’s of wisdom in that.

2-There are so many different personalities on this forum – and that what makes it interesting.

3-Within the group you will find the agitator – the opinionated – and the softies.

4-We all post to help others and to edify ourselves.
5-I do not like the bashing that occurs but if not taken seriously it does add to the forum. When you realize that none of us knows it all and that the opinions are just opinions and not facts, the rest is easy to take.

6-As for my friend Scott Yee, people bash to get a reaction form others – you are far too much a person/professional to give in to the a kind of thing. I would love to see you smile when the bashing comes – because you know who you are. Hmmmmm!

7-And Fran, keep being exactly who you are it makes the forum interesting. I’m betting you’re noting but a big loveable pussycat.

8-As for me I’m fairly new to this forum most of my posting has been on the Technics forum. My career as a professional musician has supported four children and a wife in my first marriage and two children and a wife in my second marriage. I have played in the best places in New York and Long Island, I have had spots on TV and I have played for the Mayor of N.Y.C.
My ability lead my group with my guitar and lead vocals has brought me enough to be very comfortable financially. I HAVE DONE IT.

Does that give me the right to say I know? NAW, no way. I just know what I know for me and I try to share my knowledge with humility.
