LOL, I thought you guys were going to call me nuts when I used "Disco-Polka" to describe it.

When we do polkas in my band, my drummer plays sort of a busy/heavy snare drum through most of it. The closest thing his snare style reminds me of is my high school marching bands "street beat".

A "Street beat" was what played as the band marched onto the field. A very percussive, cool, somewhat funk type snare pattern which was awesome...
