sound quality and hardware wise (and speakers too)PA 80 is better.has aftertouch that 2100 lacks.PA has better drums, synths, pads more fuller sound, and cripsier(than both yam and rolands since samples(triton board) are recorded at 48 khz oppose to 44.1).Pa also has better efx.good seq(where in yam seq is not a real seq, that's why they say -song recorder).pa has HD option, dual seq for mid file playback, sampling(via expensive and low mem cards).mid file playback wise PA has better sound(for me).

on the other hand but 2100 also has it's strengths (as arranger functions wise)and some reed sounds and LIVE!ac piano are better than PA.onboard display is much easier to navigate and change parameters.
VH has editing power that PA lacks,it's lighter.but has narrower keys and built quality is not so great.

why pay around 1500-1800 to buy a pa 80?not a good decision IMHO.get a PA 50 and digitech vocalist(339$)and you'll be OK.

or sell your 2100 and get a 3k and pa50 if you want to spend more.
