The piano is good on the Roland, better, is subjective. Ther're just different. I played them side by side, and the Roland acc piano is brighter. The Roland has got plenty of volume though. It is loud at 1/4. The Yamaha acc piano volume has to be set at 1/2 to be at room volume. FOr a pianist, 76 keys are a must, but then they could buy a DGX305.
Roland voices are good: guitars, brass, strings, are very good.
