The exemplary parameters are string noise and pick noise. I wonder how many of us would choose these as the parameters we would most like to control. These noise parameters could be controlled with velocity. The technology could be velocity-switched samples or physical modeling of certain sound components mixed with samples.

It doesn't sound like we will be emulating bluezy lead guitars or sax parts as on Harlem Nocturne with the Tyros. Also, I wonder if the Tyros will support Yamahas plug-in cards?
