My impression of the Peavey's sound quality is good. Nevertheless, the JBL Eon10 G2 get's excellent sound.

I think the Peavey would be the better choice if you were playing in a duo or three piece band, and you needed the outboard mixer.

For an arranger keyboard player, we only need two inputs. We don't need FX. We don't even need eq. We can do that on our keyboards.

I would get two JBL's with gig bags. I would get power cables with right angle plugs and guitar cables with right angle plugs, and I would keep those babies plugged in all the time. When you get to your smaller shows, you put the speaker on a chair, unzip (You don't even have to take the speaker out of the bag), and you pull out your cables and plug them in.
