Thanks Guys

Really pleased you like this one.
Scott,
I think I am going to have to invest in a set of 'proper' monitors. At the moment I am using Edirol MA-10A's. I got them for a song off ebay a while ago. I think my mixing has improved since getting them (as opposed to using generic pc speakers before) but I have noticed that there tends to be some difference in how songs sound on them to how they sound on different systems. I think I am going to have to get Rich up to sort my setup out (and he can give me voice lessons while we are at it!

) I will even make him a brew and a biscuit for his trouble

I have not sent a song away for eons, in fact not since I first started writing really. I have this thing (obsession) that my presentation let's the song down! When I win the lottery I will get my songs pro recorded by session muso's and then send them off

(Fancy a job?

)
Eddie,
Thanks for your kind words.
I am really pleased with how the Vocal Harmony came out. I have to say that not all the settings sound quite as natural with my voice. I think it depends on the voice going in and it's pitch. For instance the setting 'Country Girls' which I adore really sounds terrible when I use it. The girls don't sound like any girls I ever heard before (with the possible exception of Hilda Baker on on helium)

Rich,
You are too kind!
Don't worry about the morning brew at midday! I have just got up myself at 12.30 (but I was out until 6.45am dropping some friends off at Manchester Airport!)
I love that chord progression! If I am entirely honest it appears in two of my fave songs to play 'As Long As He Needs Me' and 'Every Time We Say Goodbye'. Now what I want to know is do I describe my use of the progression as flagrant plagerism or maybe as 'inflenced by'

Thanks again for the feedback. It is strange but I tend to like some of my stuff much better than others, even from the start. I really liked this one BUT that is usually the kiss of death as no-one tends to share my enthusiasm for my faves. SO I am especially happy that this one got such a good response.
Best wishes to you
Tony
