George, first of all, MANY thanks for passing on the latest (official?) keyboard annoucement information. I hope you don't mind I posted this here starting a new thread as I feel it warrants special attention.

I personally am suprised that Yamaha has chosen to bring out yet another 61 note Tyros. I was so sure they were going to offer a new 76 note version. I'm not really sure how much of an advantage a CD (I assume recordable?) drive will bring, especially since removeable media like that offered on the PSR3000 imo seems to offer more flexibility. I only hope Tyros II will include removeable media like the 3000 has as well. In the back of my mind, I hope Yamaha has seriously considered adding (on Tyros II) the Music Finder features that I have begged for repeatedly, which would enhance & expand the power & REAL TIME use of the Music Finder ten fold. Whatever happens, I'm looking forward to getting more details from you as news become available .

Re: the topic of the Korg PA1X, my MAIN concern has been the out of sync delay which can occur when variation changes & fills are triggered. Has Korg corrected that yet?

Thanks. - Scott
