another lovely piece of music.

Just wondering what you would call the style of music that you compose??
Hi Rikki,

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I can't call this style 'contemporary classical music' because any music becomes classical no erlier than 50 years after it has been composed. When I performed this song for the first time I was told it recollected of Andrew Lloyd Webber, though Webber, whose music I love, never use such drastic change in tonality (D major - Bb major)

Once I was asked by a friend why composers do not create classical style compositions (like symphonies) anymore. From my experience I can tell that classical style requires much more feelings and energy to create as opposed to song-writing.

I no longer compose such kind of music. It is either loss of inspiration or it is just the DGX which doesn't work for me anymore. Most likely I'll switch to synths. I've been discussing with Squeak what I can expect from the new Yamaha Mo8.

Regards,

George
