Scott, sorry, but that's not the reason.
I am familiar with the Yamaha OS. Despite my love for the Ketron drums and bass, I am more comfortable playing live with the Yammies.
I DID have a Tyros and almost every PSR ever made.
There are around 10 tiny things I was fighting on the Midjay, any one or two of which I could have overlooked. But altogether, it as enough to change. As many of you know, I change about once a year anyway, so it was time.
By the way, I made up that whole story about the trade. I sold my MJ and ordered a T2.
I tried to get one from our fellow forum member dealers, but nobody had one in stock and the Midjay is gone, so I had to act fast.
