Hi Mike,
I'm getting it as a portable controller (or I should say it's more portable than my clp170 haa haa) it's something I can put in the car and not have to panic about damaging ( I'm getting the DGX305). Also it will give me a bit of an A/B reference point for tweaking my psr styles for my new set up.

I'm going down the software route as my current arranger ( thanks to Frank).
My current arranger consists of Yamaha CLP170 piano, a laptop with OMB software and a combination of the CLP170/Edirol Hypercanvas as my soundsource. Decided to try something new and different.

Actually plugging the DGX into my stereo system or even into the clp170 should enhance the overall sound.

best wishes
Rikki
