Thanks, Gary, but those links just sent me to generic Floppies (the first was just external USB's, not what the G1000 takes, the second to generic IDE's).

Now if a generic floppy WILL work, anyone know what the jumpers ARE supposed to be set to?

I was under the impression that G1000's used a specific type of floppy, that kept spinning all the time and didn't spin down.

If anyone HAS successfully changed out a G1000 floppy, would they mind posting their results?
