Sean originally wrote "Downhearted" and sent it into a competition for a theme for a charity. Derryn Hinch was judging and passed over it. Then some years later when we were playing it around Melbourne bars in a band called "The Flatheads" David Briggs from LRB heard it and decided Australian Crawl should record it. The rest is just history. Guy McDonough, our singer went on to write and sing "Errol" for Australian Crawl.
After Guy's death in 1984 his brother Bill McDonough took us into the studio in EMI Sydney and recorded some old demo tracks we had done with him over the years. The album is called
Lost & Found .
