I finally gave in and bought a pair of Z2300's. No regrets whatsoever. They are my studio PA system. Coupled with my Behringer 1204 pro mixer, I really like what they do here. I will not be using them as mixdown monitors, instead opting for a pair of dedicated monitors, but they really do fill the room up nicely with sound, and my older PA system ( Peavey 260 watt amp and Kustom speakers ) now sits in my " gig - bag " storage area.

I am going to try the 2003's out on my next gig and if I like them there, I will buy another pair or perhaps the 5300's just for playing out so that I can leave the original pair permanently in place.
