Thanks to everyone for reading my NAMM report. I saw many other interesting music booths and products, but my report was limited to the products I thought of most interest to the people on this forum.

George: Thanks for pointing out the Korg SP-500. I somehow missed that one. 32 note polyphony (if it's really that low) sounds rather weak to me (for an arranger) and the touch screen approach has never been my cup of tea. I did see the 88 note Yamaha DGX500 and 76 note DGX300 keyboards but thought they were basically digital pianos with limited arranger backup features specifically geared to assist in music education training . They include a built in Yamaha Education Suite which will count down the beat, just a a teacher would, and excerise drills which will grade the playing of exercises. George, perhaps you can provide more detail on the DGX's arranger features: number of accomp tracks, arranger playing modes (split, full keyboard, one fingered, etc), style editing & sequencer capaabilities.
