Just curious. I too, have a mackie 808s which I use with two older Cerwin Vegas 12" on stands. I'm not a super-fan of the 808s but thought the sound was "acceptable". What don't you like about this powered mixer? My problem with it is that you can't use the monitor outs if you want to use the mains in stereo (but then I guess that would require the unit to have two stereo amps).
