The idea of the extra contoller is cool, Can I set the contoller to just be set on the bass patch always from the SD-1?

So I think I'm gonna use a
USB 49 Keystation from midiman $199.00
Edirol SD-20 for $299.00
a total of $500

This gives me the ability to have a bass part always available and also a great midi file playback system


Should I look into anything else in this price range
