Well Jack and I have tried the Peavey 684 , the Mackie 808s, the Yamaha EMX 68S, the Yamaha EMX860ST and neither of us sees any noticeable difference that would encourage us to pay $200,$300,$400,$500 more for one over the other.

The Behringer PMX 2000 I tried a month or so ago sounded every bit as good as the others I mentioned above.

Out of these the Behringer, Mackie and Yamaha in that order had the loudest hum noise when idle. The Behringer also had a rattle in the fan. That is why I sent it back.

Everything to my and Jack's ears were so close, I'm tempted to give another Behringer PMX 2000 a trial before making a final decision. It's anywhere from $250 to $500 less than the others.

At that price if it doesn't hum or have a rattle in the fan I could probably buy a new one every 3 or 4 years. Ha! Ha!
Just my opinon. For what it's worth.
