Tried one of these before settling on the PSR740. Sounds were unexceptional and the backing patterns sounded pretty old-fashioned and 'home keyboard-ish'.
Something the PSR740, 9000 and VA-7 manage to avoid nicely (but at greater cost).

It sounded quite good in a shop demo, because I think the guy was carefully using the best sounds etc. When I tried it for myself I was unimpressed.

Cost about £600.
