Hi squeak_D,
The "key`s" on a Y2K are smaller than "full size" , not by much, but I know what you mean about "feeling cramped". When I go from playing my "Hammond" to my "Y2K" my fingers "trip-over-themselves" hahaha. But , I still find a 61 key manual more comfortable to play than two 49 key manuals.
Hi DonM,
I haven`t measured them but there is a difference in feel (of course we all know about the PSR toy keys ) As I think about it the X4500 that I had about 12 years ago must of had "real full size keys" because it never felt cramped going from KB to organ (the X4500 was , by some part of the "PSR" line but very high end and much better quality. The bad thing 8 note poly what can you do with 8 notes, drop-out all over the place!!!!! ). But you guys would have loved the "action" not weighted but far better than the "PSR`s now. Maybe "Yamaha" will see that we need quality without going broke or being a $1000+ beta test site!!!!
