Feel rest assured that the PSR2000 will fit those ballads just lovely! As a composer myself of slow easy ballads, relaxing new age and electronica, I settled on the PSR keyboards for their laid back warm sound and styles. The ballads are some of the finest, though that didnt stop me producing my own styles (both free and commercial). If you enjoy relaxed laid back style, then you will be more than pleased to try out the free downloads of my styles at psrworld (svpworld). The psr keyboards offer a wide range of warm electric pianos, nice pads and smooth sounding guitars which fit the ballad styles perfectly. Though other keyboards offer ballads too, somehow they didnt have the same smooth warmth and open feeling that yamaha have injected into their keyboards.
I have the psr9000 now, the great thing about these machines is that you can always find new and interesting new styles for inspiration. Even if you dont use them for recording, the styles really do inspire you together with the expressive cool and sweet voices on offer.
