I actully PREFER it this way too
, because I frequently need to tweek mic EQ settings on the fly (to meet varying stage venue situations). If the actual mic EQ settings were saved in Registration Memory, it would NOT be realisticly possible to tweek/change mic EQ levels while performing as it would automatically revert back what is saved in Reg Memory settings the minute another registration memory button was selected.
It might be nice if Yamaha could create a new Registration Memory Contents category specificly for saving Mic EQ & efx settings though. This way you could optionally save the Mic/efx settings and then freeze (override) just these settings if you like.
