Mostly because of how terminally un-hip most of the backing loops on arrangers are..... There are exceptions, but you probably can pick up a loop collection of jungle drumming, of hiphop beats that will beat the pants off of any contemporary arranger, for a fraction of the price.

The day any of the Big 3 come out with an arranger with seriously contemporary sounds and features and, especially, cutting edge styles is the day the arranger will get the respect it has earned.
