I was thinking what would it take to get the arranger functionality of a Tyros coupled with the feel of a pro keyboard. I believe I have the killer solution.

Now that you can get the heart of the Tyros including its superb sounds in the Yamaha PSR3000, why not add the Yamaha P250 stage piano to get the best of both worlds.

The Yamaha P250 carries the best piano sample found on any electronic piano that comes closest to a real acoustic grand. It sounds better than even the new Yamaha PLG150 AP plug-in board played through a Motif ES.

Besides, the P250 has a graded hammer action 88 note keyboard with a superb feel, even surpassing the Yamaha S90.

In short, the P250 is the nearest competitor to a real piano that you can haul around. It can be had for around $1800 street price. Add the PSR3000 for another $1400 and for a grand total of $3200 you have got yourself a real playable grand piano with a top-notch arranger to boot. Just place the PSR3000 on top and play it through the P250 via MIDI.
