If you have played the SD1plus and than play the XD9 , you will miss many of the features .
If you have never played an SD1 and gp from the MS series to the XD9 , than you won't regret it . I would suggest the pattern expansion chip with XD series .
Sonically , the XD9 does not sound the same as the SD1 or SD1plus . Close .
