Hi,
I don't actually have a casio, but have you considered trying the program OMB. http://www.1manband.nl/omb.htm

I used to use it for creating midifiles of the psr styles, then use a function in my Technics KN7 ( midi to style ) to create kn styles from the psr midiles.

OMB could be of use, as it allows editing of psr styles. It may give you the opportunity of studying the psr styles more closely .
May also give you a better idea of which tracks are important
ie 9 & 10 are the drum channels
11 is bass
12, 13, are chord channels
14, is pad channel
15 & 16 are melodic lines.

You could also get an idea of how your casio sounds, as OMB is a realtime arranger ie midi it up to your casio, the casio is used as controller & sound module, OMB plays the psr styles.

I used to get the psr drum mapping by downloading the manuals from Yamaha.

Good luck with your venture.

best wishes
Rikki
