The X1 has a feature called SWELL, where it allows one to use a volume pedal only on the RHS (right hand side) and NOT affect the volume of the ARRANGER section (LHS). I bought a BOSS 50L volume pedal, but I am unable to use it that way. Does anyone know if we can use such volume pedals on the VOLUME PEDAL jack NOT on the out put jack of the keyboard? Or do I have to buy the X1 Volume Pedal made by Solton for that function to work?

I was hoping I can use the Boss cause it has two ins and two outs so I can control two boards with one pedal.

Any ideas? thanks
