Yeah, I still have mine, too. However, I've never used the Karaoke screen, so I don't know the answer to your question either. I don't remember anyone over at IA even talking about it. I do know that if you are in the US you need NTSC video and if you are in Europe you need PAL, but other than that, I just don't know.
