As I get back into this world of entertaining, I think a laptop is a great idea. My partner had not sung or played out professionally for a while either, and he was somewhat blown away by what can be done with today's arrangers and keyboards and how these tools onterface with computers. As he begins to understand what we can actually do, we both realize the potential of having a laptop on board for our shows. I don't have a hard drive installed for the PA80 and the floppy disc function isn't the best in it. It would be nice even for a backup to the discs for the 2000 as well, as we both know that floppy discs can just suddenly stop working for no apparent reason.
