captain Russ Senior Member Registered: 01/02/04 Posts: 7319 Loc: Lexington, Ky, USA	I've been using an Audio Technica mike powered by a 1 1/2 volt AA battery for 10 years. It cost about $80.00 bucks. I'm not a real stickler for mikes...use SM 58's, Carvins....but always liked this mike as well as any other. Russ
