DonM is right here. The PSR2000 won't allow you to eliminate your lead vocal signal. The 'lead/harmony balance' knob raises/lowers the level of the backup harmonies only, not the lead voice.

I guess this just points out one of the reasons that the PSR2000 costs 'so much less' than the PSR9000. Afterall, if I want female voices, I'll get REAL ladies to sing with me
