Hi,
When you say the program can't load, do you mean that it will not install, or do you mean that the program is installed but will not launch?
Assuming that the problem is the latter, try this:
From the desktop,
- double-click My Computer
- double-click Local Drive C:/
- open the Program Files folder
- open the Sonic Foundry folder
- open the Sound Forge 6.0 folder
- find the Forge60.exe file and RIGHT-CLICK on the file icon
- choose Properties from the dropdown menu
- click the Compatibility tab
- place a check mark in the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
- choose Windows 98 from the dropdown list
- click Apply and then OK
- close the Explorer window and try launching the program.
