Thanks for responding. My Roland is an EM20 arranger keyboard (no disc drive). Playing MIDI files or playing arranger software turns the keyboard in to record mode and plays different voices. (Gets screwed up). A reply from Roland tech said I had to send a MIDI on message to the keyboard. I don't see anything in the manual about turning MIDI on (you'd think it would default to MIDI, since I'm using a MIDI connection).
I was asking if anyone knows if Pro-Tracks can send these MIDI-on message info.
Also is there a way of doing this without a sequencer.
