By accident last night I came across this site. It seems this happened to this musician and he's over on Ampcast now. Check it out, maybe it'll work for you.

The other thing that I think would be worth watching is places like zdnet.com and cnet.com. When there have been majoy changes on the internet in the past they usually kept everyone up to date with the "news" and good alternatives. At least that is where I always found out about Napster etc.
