I haven't worked with the Fostex, but if you can plug a mic directly into it and adjust the reverb .... it sounds like it will be great for you. Use the stereo outs (NOT the HPs) and just plug into the Mixer from there. You can get any gender/size cable adapter you need to connect between systems.
